J. Leonard Park brings a vast array of expertise to the leadership team of ourbeachhome, in the executive, financial and marketing arenas. Like Calhoun, his business experience has come down the family tree -- and his is an interesting tree, indeed.

Leonard's grandfather, George W. Park, founded Park Seed Company, publishing his first seed catalog in 1868. Based in Greenwood, South Carolina, it remains one of the nation's most beloved and respected mail order seed companies. Many a gardener knee-deep in snow has welcomed the arrival of the Park Seed catalog in their mailbox -- the first harbinger of spring -- a hint of sunny skies and bountiful harvests to come.

Leonard served for years as CEO of Park Seed and assumed a hands-on leadership role in all aspects of the company. After selling his interest in Park, Leonard turned his energy and resources to help co-found ourbeachhome and create a better way of building and owning great family beach homes in South Carolina.
